Set up with your apps

iPads go out configured and ready to use. As a Mosyle MSP we manage them for the length of the event, so your apps and settings are on every unit and can be changed after they have shipped. If you run your own MDM, we can enroll them in yours. Every iPad is wiped when it comes back.

Stands, kiosks and cases

Most event iPads need something to stand in. Tell us how they will be used, on a counter, on a floor stand or in someone's hand, and we will send the right stands and accessories with them.

How many, and what goes with them

A registration desk needs more than iPads. Before you order, plan for:

• Enough units to keep the queue moving, plus a spare for each bank of stations
• Charging: a full day of scanning drains an iPad, so plan for power at the desk or a charging case between shifts
• Cellular data on some units, for when the venue network is busy or still being commissioned
• Badge printers if you print on the spot, and the paper to go with them
• Stands at the right height, so staff are not stooping for eight hours

Getting them into an LA venue

Convention centers do not take delivery on your behalf, and a hotel will usually hold a box for a day or two at most. We ship to arrive when somebody is there to receive them, or we drive up and set them out ourselves. If the show has an advance warehouse, shipping there is often easier, and we pack and label for it.

One day, or a run of shows

Rentals run from a single day in a hotel ballroom to a full set kept in place for a season. Longer rentals can be enrolled in device management too, so apps and settings can be changed remotely, and a unit that fails is swapped out.

Shipped, or driven up for bigger jobs

Los Angeles is about two hours from our warehouse, so most LA orders ship, with return labels already in the box. When a job is large, or has to be built on site rather than unboxed, we drive it up, and staff can stay for an event.

What iPads go out for

In Los Angeles, mostly events:

• Registration and check-in at the Los Angeles and Pasadena convention centers
• Lead capture on exhibit booths
• Surveys and feedback stations
• Digital signage and product demos

If an iPad stops working

Call and a person answers. A technician works through the problem with you on the phone first. If a machine has to be replaced, we send another the fastest way that suits the situation: delivered, shipped, or shipped overnight.

How renting works

Rentals run by the day, the week, the month, or ongoing. Before equipment goes out we usually ask for one or more of a card deposit, a purchase order or a certificate of insurance. If you need it longer, the rental usually moves to the next length.
